Hall has high ceiling, spacious and pleasant environment. Good amenities with Spotify premium account for the sound system, use of safe, fridge, family room etc.Staff are helpful, especially Kent Cheah, who help us resolve matters. Cleaner is also helpful.

We had managed to book the Hall 2 room from 05 Feb to 8 Feb 23. The place is nice and has a very cozy ambience. It is just a 5 mins walk from Geylang Bahru MRT station. It comes with good and well maintained facilities. It provides a safe deposit box for the contribution money. It also provides a Nescafe coffee machine that allows us to offer additional drinks for our guests such as tea, milo, and various coffee types like mocha, cappuccino, latte, black coffee, and white coffee. The toilet is clean and there is an attached shower area as well. On top of this, there is also 1 family room that comes with sofa cum coffee table meant for immediate family members to utilize. All areas come with cctv except family room. You just simply lock the main door and inner lock the hall door plus clear the contents in family room and money from safe box will do every day. And you are good to go. There is no need to worry about and everything is fuss free. Thanks Mount Vernon for your excellent services! Highly recommended! Thumbs up!

We had used the original Mt Vernon in the tranquil green area before and when we heard that Mt Vernon Sanctuary had reopened, we hoped for a similar green environment. But when we first saw the outside, its clearly in an industrial estate, and the green trees (on their website) were nowhere to be seen.But we walked inside and the high cathedral ceiling and wooden interior immediately appealed to us. Compared to the other parlours in Singapore, I think this is still the most peaceful and tranquil. We were non-denominational so no religious backdrops, just flowers and it looked very good.The interior is wood and there are wall niches to place the flowers (weird to say wreaths as those are traditionally round) sent by well-wishers. With the flowers all around, and the wood, the hall looks really peaceful.There is music (Spotify), a TV for playing pictures, and you get your own key so you can stay as long as you want. Or even stay overnight. There is a family room at the back but I didn't use it. Also a private bathroom (both shower and toilet).Parking isn't easy but our guests all managed so it's okay I guess. Overall, outside doesn't look good but we were all pleased by the place.
